Feel the Calm of the Ocean & Slow Down

As both a biologist and an artist, my customers choose me for the realistic likeness I create, as well as for my vivid color choices that beautifully showcase sea animals. This piece entitled, "Honu Slow" was inspired by a trip to Oahu, HI where I swam with about 25 green sea turtles in a spot known to locals as the "car wash" because fish clean the turtle's shells there - reminds us to slow down and enjoy life more! My work is truly unique in that I combine my scientific knowledge of each ocean animal with my passion for art. 

I take pride in my ability to capture the exact markings & characteristics of each animal, making my paintings stand out as both accurate depictions of the undersea world and treasured pieces of art.
